Quality assurance for mystery projects

How meaningful the results of mystery studies are, depends to a large extent on the quality of the project concept and implementation. It does not work without the mystery effect. The central precondition is that both the mystery tester and the constructed consultation scenario are credible.

FairControl therefore places great importance on the selection of suitable testers, the precise definition of authentic test scenarios and the intensive training of the mystery team. In particular, we ensure that there is the greatest possible match between our testers and the customer profile of our client. Wherever possible, FairControl uses testers belonging to the same target group and having a comparable background (e.g. interests, regional origin, age, education, professional group etc.).

We verify the consistency of our results with statistical reliability tests. These test whether the measurements from testers with the same identities and deployment scenarios coincide.
