Visitor counts
Insights from visitor
counts
FairControl
uses visitor counts to determine the absolute number of visitors to your
exhibition stand. For each visitor counted, the stand entrance zone, day and
time are recorded. Our visitor counts provide you with the following results:
-
The contact performance of your fair presentation (total number of exhibition stand visitors)
-
Relative coverage of your fair presentation – Your visitor number in relation to the total number of your target audience anticipated at the fair (determined with the aid of FKM data)
-
Evaluation of the influence of stand architecture, stand location and stand orientation in relation to the stream of visitors
-
Effectiveness of eye-catchers in addressing visitors
-
Identification of visitor peaks during the day for optimal personnel deployment planning
Data collection
The
common technique for determining visitor numbers is personal counting with
count meters and a precisely defined counting plan. The counting plan specifies
who counts, and where and when counting takes place. For every counting
interval, the duration of counting, counting interval and counting position is
defined so that all stand entrance zones, times of day and days of the week are
representatively covered. Only the actual visitors to your exhibition stand are
counted. Your fair and service personnel are not included in the visitor count.
Counting of your stand visitors usually takes place every day of the week and throughout the entire opening time of the fair. This allows you to accurately reconstruct the visitor flow according to days, times and stand entrance zones.
As an alternative to personal counting of visitor numbers, we also offer the use of laser-based measurement systems. The advantage: Laser scanners register exactly and without interruption all persons who enter your exhibition stand. However, when interpreting the measurement results, it must be considered that laser systems are not in a position to distinguish between actual stand visitors and stand staff.
